Instead of buying flight training, Druids train Flight Form (equivalent to a normal flying mount) as a spell at level 70 for the cost of 8 gold and 60 silver. Druids could learn an Epic version of Flight Form, but the 300 riding skill and its 5,000g cost was a part of the quest line. Flying at 60% is still better overall trip time than taking the taxi or your 100% speed ground mount in most cases. If you want to go faster you can save up 5000 gold and buy epic flying. WebI plan to have a druid alt for TBC, essentially just for herb farming and alchemy transmutes. I've never done it before, but it seems getting epic flight form will not only be costly but very time consuming: - need to get to 70. - need to pay 5000 gold to start epic flight quest. - need to get geared and have rep so you can do heroic SH.
