Both IMR and H 4831 are optimum or near optimum powders for the .243 and prudent load development will give good results. This data can be confusing sometimes. The various brands (IMR,H,AA) are really close, but not interchangeable. 4831 is definately slower than 4350.

Apparently the longer kernals of H4831 make it burn a bit slower than the short cut. Use the same starting loads and work from there.
