WebMar 16, 2015 · Finally had a chance to test out some 44 mag reloads using the Alliant 300 MP. I loaded up three different loads between 23 and 25 grains under a 240gr XTP. Velocity, per the book, should be between 1400 and 1600 fps for these loads. I'm very pleased with the middle load grouping. http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=90730

Very slight primer flattening at 19.5, just enough to notice a difference. The others showed zero change to the primer.
